Skippers & Crew Board

If you are a skipper looking for crew, or a crew looking for a skipper, please SCROLL DOWN and fill out the form in the next section.  Once you have filled out the form you will be able to see your information added to the lists below.  You can only see ONE LIST AT A TIME – please use the back button in the listings display to return to the previous screen.  Thanks.

Skipper & Crew Board

Fill out the form – all fields are required.  Then scroll down to see who else has signed up – the regatta organizers are not making the introductions this year, so it’s going to be important that you reach out to anyone on the list that you may be interested in sailing with for the event.

If you have any questions or problems filling out the form or reading the skipper or crew lists, please post in our Facebook Group and one of us will respond.

Intermediate - Moderate experience, but I want to learn a new position or get better at my current position.

I just started racing at South Beach this Spring and Summer sessions on Rakusu J-105 with Skipper Bill Davidson thanks to a referral from Patti Mangan. And I love it! I'm hooked and intend on doing more racing from now on.

I'm a total ocean girl, Coastie Veteran, but only learned to sail in June of 2020 thanks to lockdown. I live next to a marina 😉 I met a skipper and changed my world. I have over 900 hours of sail time in 5 years. I learned in Redwood City where I live, but then started sailing out of Sausalito ever since. I have two years sailing on a 26', about two years on a 38' hunter, and 1 year on Jeanneau's 35' -41'.

I've had 2 voyages down and up the coast (Santa Cruz) on a 50' Beneteau out of alameda. Plus about 20 cruises in the bay on this boat as well.

I was invited to sail with Translated 9 out of St. Francis as a jr. crew member (aka helping whatever the professional crew needed, basically I was learning 😉 when they took guests out for soft PR sails. The sister ship in Italy actually did the OGR in 2023.

I don't have a boat, just awesome friends with boats 😉 So I decided to go for certification so I could charter myself and get more water time. As of 2024, I am BC certified through US Sailing via Club Nautique.

My happy place is on the water. I'm happy to do whatever the skipper needs and I always bring snacks 😉

Pretty open & flexible. Only hiccups where I'm unavailable are: Thur. 9/11 morning, Wed 9/17 morning, Thur. 9/18 all day.
